Company history
1976
Albert Speck takes over the carpenter workshop of Alois Uttinger, located at Widenstrasse 15 in Oberwil. He starts his venture as sole proprietorship employing one carpenter and one apprentice. During the 1980s, the company grows to seven employees.
1990
Albert Speck manages to acquire the carpenter shop of Willy Waltenspuel, located at Dorfstrasse 37 in Allenwinden. The company is then restructured into Albert Speck AG and part of the fabrication department is relocated to Allenwinden.
2000
Fabrication is completely consolidated in Allenwinden.
2001
The showroom located at Artherstrasse 120 in Oberwil-Zug, the parental former bakery of Albert Speck opens.
2010
The company is passed on to the next generation. Roland Speck is appointed General Manager.
2015
The kitchen showroom in Allenwinden opens. Five kitchens are on exhibition one storey above the workshop, along with the newest trends in the areas of storage-, table- and other furniture.
